Thanks for visiting my blog.  I’m Huong Nguyen.IMG_0030 2

If you love to travel, food, and want to have meaningful connections this blog is for you.  I love to travel and eat, and this blog was started because people often ask me about my travels.  I would like to share my experiences with all of you.  I want to live a meaningful life filled with adventure and I have talked to many people who are looking for the same thing.  While I understand people have their own journey we can all learn from each other.

About Me:

I’m a headstrong woman who is a passionate advocate for raising compassionate, brave, smart, open-minded, globally-aware children through travel. I’m married to a very smart man named Ryan Nabors who loves me very much and I have an adorable opinionated little girl named Sophia. My family of three travel both internationally and domestically. We have family and friends all around the world and we plan each trip to be a blend of educational, cultural, and culinary experiences with the goal of making real meaningful connections with other people.

Why I started this blog:

I talk to many people in my travels, and the best part is connecting with people. I would like to share my experiences with you, inspire you to travel and explore if you are not, and learn from you. I want to share what I learn and learn from others. I believe that no matter who you meet in this world every person knows something that you don’t, and every person can teach you something. This blog is meant to be a positive place to connect, discuss, and share our lives.   I have wanted to start this blog for a long time and with my father passing away in 2018 I realized that I don’t have time to wait any longer.  You never know what tomorrow will bring and so there is no better time to start than now.

About my posts:

I have been traveling for a long time and I’m imparting my travel bug to my daughter.  I’m constantly learning through trial and error, experience, and from others.  The most effective way to learn is from others, so hopefully, you will benefit from my experience, and share some of yours as well.
